Message from the Highways Agency concerning forthcoming resurfacing works on the A259 at Rye.

These are programmed to start in January 2012 for approximately 9 weeks, and you will find a document giving full details on this website

Two sections of the resurfacing will require full carriageway closures 24 hours a day, with diversion routes in place for motorists. The first will be across a weekend from 06.00am 7 January until 06.00am 9 January, and the second will be for a period of two weeks, currently programmed to start around 20 February.

We need to ensure that as many local residents as possible are aware of the works, both around the works area and the diversion routes.
